Re: S Karosser Heating System
Thanks Zildjian, I rang a local caravan service guy I have used before to fix my fridge and he gave me the answer. The drain is a pipe that goes through the floor ending with a threaded bung which undoes with an allen key as in the picture. I guess the pipe comes from the underside of the boiler as ...

Re: S Karosser Heating System
Thanks Peaky. I read the manual but it only mentions how to drain the hot water not the heating fluid. I found an installation guide for the 3020 boiler (later version than 3000, but same should apply I guess). It says:- The installer should fit one or more drains in the central heating system to al...

Do any S Karosser owners know how to drain the heating fluid from the Alde 3000 wet heating system? I can’t find a drain cock anywhere.

Re: Does Air Suspension affect Rear Brake Load Compensator?
Thanks for your responses. I took my Hilux to my Toyota main dealers who said they had never seen anything like it, but that the fittings all appeared to be original. They finally came to the conclusion that it must be because it is an Invincible rather than the standard model, and it has a bunch of...

Does Air Suspension affect Rear Brake Load Compensator?
My rear brakes have been locking up when I've got the camper mounted, but are fine when demounted. I've found that my Hilux is missing the load compensator valve that is meant to prevent this happening, together with all the linkage that goes with it. This is a bit weird and no one I've talked to, i...

Re: Clamp on towing mirrors.
I'm with Black Countryman - I've got the same Towsure mirrors and they are very steady. Previous mirrors I've had vibrated and would not hold their position at speed.

OK, I'll forget the springs then! Thanks for the advice Gary.Gary W wrote:Absolutely the very last thing you want with this type of mounting is any kind of slop hammering away at the mountings. Inertia is the enemy, spring or not!
