I have just had to replace my old Ford Ranger "Thunder". I had put extension nuts in the bed to physically bolt down the demountable in it.
The wildtrack has load tie-down points on the sides of the tub.
Has anyone any experience of utilizing these to hold on to the demountable?
The handbook says they are rated at 250Kg and with 4 of them they are well within the 600 odd weight of the demountable.
The mountain top and sports bar will have to come off

Hello mate. Do not use trucks tiedowns, not strong enough! Fix 12mm-14mm forged eyebolts through each far corner of the bed Using heavy duty washers and locking nuts too. Look up happijack original turnbuckles To connect camper to truck. You wOuld need to have reinforced lashing eyes fitted to the outside slide in area of the camper and have access to fit/tighten up. This could be a good solid option for you? Wish you well
