Hi again,i have been away had computer problems and been very busy with my son making a demountable for him to live in. We finished cladding his home last friday and used the tractor jacks to lift it it on to his vehicle, the jacks worked well, were quite steady until fully wound . I am going to mod...

Just out of interest ,what weight are your demountables, hope to be within 650kg , haven't put the wood burner in yet though!

Looked at the suggestions for jacks, found some tractor jacks that i can modify for £35, i hope they weigh about the same as the jacks supplied to ready mades, will let you know how I get on with them.
