Hi there, loving the forum, it’s a great source of info.
Just quick question, is the Navara NP300 easily capably of carrying a fully loaded Tischer trail 240 or does it need some suspension upgrades?
Thanks Jerome

Re: Nissan NP300
Hello & welcome,
yes it will as it is, but addition of a pair of air springs will help the ride and correct the headlamp adjustment at same time.
I believe Grant runs same model Nissan with a SKarosser camper I'll see if he's about to help with advice

Thank you for your reply.
I emailed Tischer that question, they quoted €4,480 for fitting a full rear air suspension, any idea why so expensive?

Hey, Welcome aboard.
I've been running an NP300 for a year now and I'm really liking it. In some ways not as good as my D40 but that's another story.
Because the double cab NP300's have rear coil springs and after watching a few reviews I didn't even try my camper on the truck before fitting Coil-Rite airbags. This is the only mod I did to the standard Tekna apart from tie-down eye bolts of course. I did try sitting the camper on a hire NP300 and from memory it sat down about 12cm at the back.
Because is got the 2.3 dual turbo (Renault) engine it has loads of power and then some for pulling the weight. Fuel consumption is really good too. When your carrying the camper though you do burn a lot of AdBlue.
