A BIG Thank you from me to Zildjian, Mark & Andy for arranging the Social. I thought Barn Farm was a really good site, excellent facilities & very well run. I enjoyed meeting & chatting to people & apologise to those i didn't get to meet, there's next year. I went for a walk on sunday afternoon to 'blow away the cobwebs' from the bbq which turned out to be a four hour round robin, beautiful countryside complete with steep hills. I can vouch firsthand why we were advised to approach the campsite the way we did! Till next year.

That show's the Old Girl looking not too shabby, Thanks. Shame i hadn't got the For Sale sign up.

I managed a 450 mile round trip, pushing a steady 60 mph at times, averaging 32 mpg. Not quite Keef's road trip but pretty good for me.

I crept out of Barn Farm @ 06.15 but it still took me 5 1/2 hours to get home, Knackered but Happy.

A big thank you from us too. Fantastic weekend with a great bunch of demountable people :D
Looking forward to doing it again, oak smoked and all.

We had great fun too looking around at everyone else's rigs and really envy those with legs that stay on and fold up nice and neat. Having said that we love our Apollo. We are now looking into re-plating the truck too. Learned much had fun, great weekend.

We particularly enjoyed the BBQ'd peacock Sunday night, shame some of you missed it, better luck with the pig roast next time.

We would really like anyone not already a facebook member to join us;

https://www.facebook.com/groups/demountablecampergroup

you needn't participate, it isn't all about what sandwiches you have for lunch, or some stupid TV program and you dont' have to use you own name even or disclose age, school or employment, home address

what you will get is an insight into how we snare that generation into joining us, and you might enjoy it as other members here have found to their surprise

as you were

I would just like to 'chip in' about my stubborn reluctance to join Facebook UNTIL i realised that its Great, combined with the Forum, its a continual source of info, banter & at times, really funny.

I only joined 4 months ago, wih i had done it sooner.
