I'm busy tidying up a 1975 U900 Mog at the moment. Owned it for the last 7 years. Merc straight 6 starts on the button, sounds awesome and returns nearly 20mpg on the road (max speed 40ish) was going to fit a crane on the back for machinery removals. Just as a matter of interest run a tape measure over the chassis and reckon I could fit the demountable on the back with no real probs.. . . just need a double extending ladder to get in the rear door...

"Are you tempting me Satan"
(probably as well it would take a camper as i'd be living in it shortly after purchase)

The one in the photo is a U900 and has the same shape cab as mine ( mine is 1975) . . . It wouldn't be much of a problem to fit the demountable camper, just needs a subframe fabricating, which would fit the standard Mog X frame. I have just finished refurbing the X Frame ready to refit. Any rear mounted accessories such as tipper bodies, winches etc are manufactured to fit the chassis via the X Frame, which is cleverly designed to pick up on 3 mounting points only, on the chassis (2 front and 1 rear) this allows the Mog chassis to articulate and flex offroad without cracking the chassis, or passing the stress on to the load on the back. . .

down the road tree surgeon only has one tips backwards though I mentioned that other feature and he showed me the control in cab that tips it, then a lever to direct it sideways he said

Mmmm.... shame to decommission the rocket launcher... I can think of several places locally that it could be put to good use
