I have one of these , £25 off Ebay . 130kg pull and of course thing weigh less when under water . Marigolds are not very butch but stuff off the bottom of the canal often stinks !

Well He's found more than I have at least.
No the Man in the shop told me (off the record) that best chance of finding something valuable was also buying the gloves as they improve grip on the rope apparently

With hindsight I don't think He knew what He was talking about TBH
