Used legs do come along from time to time but they are quite scarce, though the legs aren't themselves complicated
(as just one sq tube sliding inside another) making the winding gear and housing inside a sq tube box on top is a bit more complicated,
instead self builders often buy these;

cut and extend them to suit, its a solution.
In terms of leaving them mounted permanently on camper, while it's not illegal it does leave them a little vulnerable to collision.
