Added a second camera, this time to truck bed up high in the bulkhead liner facing backwards to tailgate,
its for hooking camper up without tears, powered independently off rear screen demist circuit
camera and its own micro transmitter broadcasts forward to installed monitor in sunvisor above steering wheel.

once backed under it reverts back to the normal camper-cam switched off the sidelights so I don't have both camera's broadcasting at once

camera is tiny and comes with its own hole cutter to install whole lot under £10

and added a 5A in-line fuse as its the smallest I can find here a 1A would probably have worked just as well

there, that should keep the H&S happy

My upgrade this week is focused on some extra security. So I purchased a Fiamma Pro Security Handle 46cm from :-

http://www.fiammadepot.co.uk/fiamma-sec ... 29471.html

This was the cheapest I could find it & for what you get I think it's not bad value for money :)

The hardest bit in the installation was the setting out, making sure that it didn't clash with the boiler or shelf in the tall locker cabinet.
Then, when I was happy with the final resting place, I set to with my trusty drill
I almost made a boo boo with the height & only just getting the lock back plate into the recess of the inside of the door. But thankfully, I had a bit of luck on my side & I got away with a bit of trimming with a hacksaw & bench grinder

So that's the next stage of my upgrades complete & I'm waiting for a couple of deliveries, hopefully this week ;) ;)

The chassis is being done tomorrow / Tuesday. So there'll be more pics & a bit of a writeup to follow soon folks :D :D

Might have to do this mod myself.
Not just security but coming down that ladder with hands full of food/wine/ageing springer has more than once come close to a comedy moment.

Betterware speak] actually you'll wonder how you ever managed without one/bettware speak

presumably the next step is being able to summon the (site) warden in the event of;

Day 3 of upgrades to the camper & we're after some more daylight. After looking around some of the rigs at the Social & thinking ours looked a bit on the dark side. I decided that it was a 'Must Have'! Ebay delivered the Heki 2 from Germany as it was about 50quid cheaper than in the UK & a week later it was here. So I set to with the trusty drill & jigsaw & Hey Presto, 2 hours later we had Light :D :D :D

I'd say it was a 5/10 pretty easy to be honest.
It was more of a confidence thing, cutting a 960mm x 655mm hole in the roof :P :P
Just followed the instructions & before I knew it, it was all done :D :D

They are great. You will love it.

I was really nervous cutting 2 holes in the side of mine for the fridge vents. Measured 9 or 10 times for everything. Worked out ok in the end.
