Claude hi again,
always liked the Tischer our 'skarroser' is similar but Tischer is better in my opinion,
your English by the way (BTW) is good more especially for written English as well!

Its always difficult learning another language but spoken is always easier than written, so well done
how have you been learning, tuition?

May I use some of your excellent images in promotional material

felicitations Zildjian

I'm learning English in two ways: once a week I have an english course in a local association and it costs me 230€ a year, and three or four times a month I speak by skype with an American guy who is learning French. I met him in a language exchange website called The Mixxer and it's free!
And of course, when I have got some spare time, I try to read and write in his forum : :D

What do you mean by " use some of your excellent images in promotional material "

Claudius,
In French, in what context might you use the word soigné
(I understand the kitchen term très soigné) but is there a usage for 'careful' or 'cautious'

Hello and Welcome Claudius. I am in your beautiful country at the moment. I'm having a skiing trip in my Northstar to Val d'isere.

soigner : provide care
example: j'ai été bien soigné à l'hopital -> google traduction: I was well cared for at the hospital

soigner: Deal with care of something, be attentive to its good condition, its appearance, its cleanliness or its operation
example : mon jardin est très soigné -> my garden is very neat

thanks Larousse, Collins and Google
