I have to say that the stuff we carry in the camper is (other than food and clothes) left in there permanently and isn't added to on a trip.
This kit is pretty minimalist. Light things in the overhead lockers.
Most 'hardware' things like tie downs, or anything used to make the camper work and the stoves are kept in the floor locker.
Everything else goes in the back of the truck, which is TBH a pretty good space compared with small motorhomes.
The folding bikes take up half of the rear seat - which has a ply sheet on it so it isn't damaged - and there is more than enough room for two or three months travel..
For our own safety, and also to keep Portuguese and Spanish traffic police off our backs, we have a load net over all this stuff in case of an accident.
Clothes go in a pair of the Lakeland trolley bags, I guess they are 40 x 40 x 35 with handles so they can be lifted on and off the bed.
Again, stuff is put on the bed as far forward as possible to reduce weight near or behind the rear axle.
Folding tables and chairs plus the levelling ramps go in the space between the camper and buck - there is a 20 cm space to 'post' thing through on ours but I don't think everyone has this.
And even then... We still don't use everything so a further cull is on the cards.
Next project is to find lighter folding bikes (used) that don't cost as much as a small car.
