Are you off to that site in Eype that you like?

Next stop,
we would in fact have taken the opportunity to travel tomorrow in the rain ready for the 'summer' but we'd lose £24 leaving here early it's blowing a mini-gale here today, not so much fun for those under canvas,

(this hardly illustrates the climate here right now) :geek:

I've hooked up as the wind was blowing the camper about even parked inside truck!

So anyway, Eype (Bridport) bright sunshine and records by Wham will break all around the area :D

Wind gotten worse after dark, I notice with some satisfaction the 'weekend (lightweight) campers' have been packing up and driving inland,
obviously We are made of sterner stuff and with stiff upper lip will see this night out.

Locals say it was indeed 'windy' last night, predictably not the worst this coast can inflict, but bad enough,

The site woke up with one less tent certainly, the occupants got up late at night to peg it down but not before it got away from them over the hedge and across a neighboring site then fields
They are OK and moved to B & B instead,
So that's one less brush with argos-camping probably.

Sun's finally come out although it's borderline awning with the wind,
Wash & dryer room quite the placve to be this morning.....

If you're in the Weymouth or Portland area pop in and say hello if you have the time. I'm not chained to my desk (thank the lord!) so best phone first to make sure I'm about - but if I am the coffee's always on and you will be assured of a hearty welcome. No demo unit yet (end of the month) so nothing to see, but would still be nice to put a face to name :-)

If you do pop in to meet Gary which I did a couple of weeks ago their office is round the back of the row of units they interleave one unit to front one to the back. Well worth a pop in.
