I just ordered a pack of ten from china for a few quid inc post.
Took just over a week to arrive.

They work well, haven't caught fire.

Bought for two reasons, firstly the obvious battery drain. But also safety. I once found the upper bed pillow touching that blazing hot G4 reading light once. Was lucky it didn't burn.

We changed all (Except) bathroom cabinet light with LED can't remember wattage but guessing I would have ordered mid range soft lighting
installed a couple of strips recently, one where the vanity curtain 'was' another backlights behind the bed cushioned side,
lots of light and sips power without cooking occupants.

Would say I ordered Chinese but had either 2 or 3 fail so far with apparently poorly connected pins, now I've tried them I'll buy better next time

BTW - the bath cab light is a pygmy bulb, so we got an LED version of that too.
Just the wardrobe light to do (I forgot it .. because it's in the wardrobe)

Wonder if its worth changing the kitchen fluorescent for a strip of LED's?

Chris & Carol have one that 'was' working in the Tscher they bought but now isn't so I'm not sure
TBF though with the abundance of light now installed any further addition might possibly be overkill

You are in danger of either being smothered in your bed by moths, or looking out of the back door and seeing a 737 coming in hot.

Chatting to one of my work colleagues today, who's also an electrician on the side, and he recommended LED Hut for quality at a good price, whilst also mentioning he'd never buy Chinese one's off ebay due to being poor quality. A quick gander at the site gave me these options… http://ledlights.ledhut.co.uk/search?w=g4+led&asug=
