I've received my Omnia Stove top oven today from Gary W at SBS & I can safely say, what a Great deal :!: :!: :!:
We've just cooked a couple of chicken fillets in it as a bit of an experiment & they're cooked just right.
It's even been given the seal of approval from wifey, who says that she's looking forward to trying some of the recipes from the book & doing some experimenting with it.
It's all aluminum, not too big, very lightweight & comes in it's own storage bag.

Thanks again Gary for a prompt service & I'm looking forward to another "Mates rate" forum member deal :D :D :D

So go on folks, give Gary a nudge & get one ordered ;)

I prefer to cook from scratch. This weekend I made a couple of things in advance to reheat and then realised we we going to be off grid and therefore no microwave :o so had to use the stove anyway.

We've done steak and chips, more like sauté but pretty good, stir fries, curries, stuff like that. Like Zildjian I'm looking for something with a bit more bite now and again so always experimenting.

Maybe we need a camper recipe thread?

Found this website. We have the same double skillet oven thing, although

I only ever use it as frying pans at the moment.
