OK so your all in the loop, the rather nice site Peaky found (see picture earlier) don't allow 'groups'
we were hoping they mean rowdy stag nights that sort of thing but I spoke to them this morning and its actually true
NO GROUPS,
now I know what your'e thinking, we all book one at a time,
trickle in over the course of Friday afternoon amid pantomime gasps as we see yet another demountable,

but they would smell a rat after about second unit and kick our group out
so the search continues tomorrow with another phone call to a Derbyshire site again near Matlock,


Also in case nobody's seen Sheriff's new thread yet,
He not only saw another demount even got a picture!

judging by the late night fun and japes we have seen on sites when groups of any sort are allowed I cant say we blame them.

nuiscance overly loud music, impromptu footbal, shouting and screaming, just ruins it for other people

He's fine with groups,
he has up to 13 hard standing plots with EHU if you wish (I am) £22 per night up to 4 adults %50 deposit now
couple of pubs in local village to walk to, nice countryside for the dogs too,

We are looking forward to meeting the people with which we speak nightly here, and if its a fun experience for all of you,
we can do it again wherever you suggest,

So long as the gig isn't in Walsall I'm happy with anything. If we do the WestBay thing I have a relative who's back garden view is prett much the picture above. He will bring us fresh mackerel to fry every morning for breakfast!

Driving Directions

We are at the very top of the village of Birchover on the right hand side. If you have satellite navigation, our postcode is DE4 2BL.

Please DO NOT, under any circumstances, try and approach the campsite via Stanton Lees OR Birchover Lane in any large vehicle. Both roads are very narrow and Stanton Lees is very steep making them both unsuitable. Please use the B5056 as above.

I have no personal experience of this site but after Zildjian giving them a call this morning it looks like it can offer what we require.
It would be best if each interested party book their own pitch & just mention that your part of the group, so that we can all be placed together

we are biased I suppose having been there a few times now, where in West bay then? its something of a biker destination god knows why there.
