This weekend, Sandy and I are heading out for our first run to this rather spiffing site, down the road from us.
http://www.five-wyches-farm.co.uk
This will be a shakedown run to try it all out and see what else needs doing or thinking about for future trips.

I once had one of those which could have been described in exactly the same way! I stuck with it for 13 months from new then got a decent 4 X 4 (Shogun)

We've owned a couple of them now, the newer of the two (during our tenure) suffered a failure in every aspect of its construction;
bodywork,glass,suspension, drivetrain & engine,electrical
don't think We've had a vehicle ever do that and we've had loads over the years

There's a big grommet behind the glovebox. I've already fed the wiring through there to the battery, and it comes through right next to the panel with the gauges. All in the photo instructions with the kit. I've only had to drill one hole in the whole process and that was on the compressor bracket because of the RHD modification.

Sitting reminiscing with Clare and contemplating how things have changed.
Fifteen years ago this month, having just spent the winter in Greece, we shared the ferry from Patras back up to Ancona with five other campers/motorhomes from Germany. They'd been part of a larger group following some of the Silk Route but had gone off on their own in order to spend some weeks travelling around Syria. Their descriptions, of a beautiful country and people, left us in no doubt that it was a place we should visit one day. Sadly it seems we've probably left it too late.
