We had no time to plan - I have been running on I don't know what for 3 days now and I'm still not a fully well bear after my extended hospital stays.

What it did do is highlight the need to hide spare keys in the pickup for the camper. Because we got the pickup 1st I had a key on my keyring so I could move it around the yard at the back of our house whereas with the Iveco if I want to move it I pickup a bunch of keys and that has everything on it

So this was a well it doesn't matter now and we have learned the lesson moment and like Lisa being paranoid about trees then I will now be about trees meds and keys

As my grandpa used to say 'a man who doesn't make mistakes doesn't make anything',

By all accounts his other saying was 'if I cant fix this then I'll make sure no other bu**er can' ,

What I find helpful and in an effort to avoid moving without winding up legs/awning etc
is a handy printed list on the inside of the gas cabinet outside
it lists a dozen or so:
close cupboards
lock fridge
hook up (or unhook) electrics
stow legs
turn off gas
drop sat dish
count dogs etc

this has saved me a few quid in last few years and I would totally recommend it
