If I get some spare time later this week, then I might just have a ride over.
If anybody wants me to ask any specific questions, then just give me a nudge.

So that is back on sale again, I'd fondly thought someone had got a bargain in a private purchase there

Like you say this one appears quite old. Am looking for something newer personally. I have been looking at SBS adventure campers web site. They are quite close to me in Portland. Am doing my research before I call for an appointment to see what they could do for me.
If you do go to take a look take a snapshot of the serial plate, if you let me know the serial number we can confirm year of manufacture and original specs. Speaking with the guys at the factory we've established that the cabin was built prior to 2008 so will be somewhat different to today's cabins, both in construction and layout.
On the older cabins they used a ply inner wall for the campers, still vacuum bonded but ply instead of grp for the inner wall. On the newer ones they use the full expedition grade grp/styrofoam/grp panels for all the bodies (not just the expedition ones).

Hope that's helpful

Best wishes

Gary

I'm interested in this on Andy but it seems that the seller is a bit.. well.. It's hard to describe.

If you do go -and don't get fed to the pigs - The see if it will fit a doublecab and how much he might want for the unit alone.

I've left over eight messages with 'Martin' to call me back (Phone goes straight to answering machine) but he so far not a word.

Interesting results on TCS 9Thornham Car Sales review page:-

Recent Review... "I saw a car I liked on autotrader that was being sold by Thornham Car Sales and decided to check it out.

I was let onto the private property through an automated gate and immediately I grew suspicious. It appeared to be a graveyard for old caravans. Loads of moss-covered, rust-ridden things.

The owner was off site so I was instructed to wait. 40 minutes I was waiting.

When he eventually arrived he kept questioning whether I could afford the car (I'm a teacher and not unreasonably presented). After a short amount of time he became very paranoid ("Why are you looking at me like that?") and eventually threatening ("I can smash ribs with one punch!").

He eventually threatened to set his dogs on me unless I left the property. I was polite and courteous but his paranoia was incredible."

Still going Andy?

Looks a delightful dealership that that last review in particular is a little disturbing, sounds like 'shallow grave motors'
