Evidently Rubberrat has come to expect CC standard issue facilities these days
straight nicely lined up vans, complimentary Daily wail, no campers with a 'Z' in their surname, George flag compulsory
As leicester now has its king safely under ground away from those theiving yorkists I will probabilt fly a white rose flag
and no lisa that weekend so no lincolnshire flag to fly
If you could arrange delivery of the 'i' newspaper on saturday that would be much appreciated

The Square & Compass PH, Station Rd, Darley Dale, Matlock, Derbyshire DE4 2EQ as it is the nearest site to us. It is a pub which has a camping field across the road from it and all facilities are in the pub. It is approximately 5-10 min drive to us via a narrow lane or 15 min drive to us via the A6. Their telephone number is 01629 733255.

Have not read all the quotes so someone may have already written this.
The
square & compass is just a field with grass with a nice pub opposite & the three stags pub up the road,
used to go there on my motorbike a while ago but wouldn't thought it has changed much. There was a place in Ashbourne that you drove off the road to that has a pub on the site cannot remember what it was called I will try & find out for maybe future spots.
There is also Glossop & Tintwhistle I used to go up to researching into crashed aircraft around that area when I was fitter.
competition time !

Need an alternative title for subsequent 'gathering' so brownie point for successful candidate
I have something underway for next year that should
✓most people's boxes,
been to visit this morning, its central, easily accessible, from any direction, inexpensive and (can) feature a variety of activity and things to look at and try.
not a caravan in site BTW
dates are provisional but I've pencilled in last weekend in June again (although not set in stone)
