I have just checked as I was worried we may be a bit late but check in is upto 9pm so all is ok.
We will have to demount as we have to take our eldest to a sleep over on Saturday and then come back.
Just glad we don't live far away.

We got a phone call today to say Calmac will be on strike Friday, so we have to come the long way round. We're planning to leave Thursday afternoon and stop over somewhere en-route. Hey-ho

I came on here to post on the Calmac situation.
Hope it isn't too much of a hassle.
Of course if Reedham Ferry joins in, then I will have an extra 15 miles on my journey

It's only about another 200 miles for us. It will cost about the same in diesel as the money we get refunded for the ferry. It's just a pain in the butt. We were gony have brekky on the ferry and a nice leisurely crossing. It is what it is, we'll manage fine. Just poring over the map to pick a stealthy spot for Thursday night. Well looking forward to the trip now.

We have to do 500 miles at the start of every Europe trip just to get to the Chunnel. So 385 is just a short trip.
But we will be ready for a nice cold beer.

Thanks, we should be there by then,....fingers crossed on traffic etc.
