I have raised the wardrobe floor by 150mm and make the gas locker taller so I can now get 6kg calor lite cylinders in the Locker.

Next job is to install a refillable cylinder system for use in Europe.

Looking good there Steve. How did you find wild camping? I guess it's working for you.

Not done much mate but I'll do more wilding in winter I think as the choice of open sites is less. But so far so good.

I'm looking at removing the table inside it came with and substituting instead a drop leaf together with its fixed table top to the bulkhead to double as a step,
when the table is folded down the remaining table top becomes a handy bed-step together with storage underneath,
then in use, this 'step' is double width (about 900mm) a big enough table for two of us inside,

Martin dover has one in his Northstar, gave me the idea

Does the floor posts bracket still have a post to support the table too?

So copying Martin's step/table idea

made up an open fronted cabinet to go between seats out of Beech pine 9mm ply

re-purpose an Oak drop leaf table off e-bay for £5, remove the top and discard the rest, dismantle the top into boards and pass through a planer to remove the funereal dark varnish, re-glue it together again and cut it down to the size I need,

swap off the bulkhead fitting from back of original table, this goes back onto the rear of new cabinet & makes it semi-permanent but removable quickly to access the battery cabinet beneath,

Thats as far as I've got today, it needs the leaf support working out, some correct size modern screws sourcing, and a clear stain applying tomorrow
