Also, could it see the death of the traditional German sports saloon - everyone would want something like a VW California so they can sit watching TV, working or eating while travelling, and sleep on longer journeys (leave after work Friday night, sleep in the vehicle and wake up in the South of France). Would hurt the budget hotel / motel business .

Main source of ready spare parts would still be bikers though I expect, and as yet there still isn't anything in pipeline for self riding bikes or ashtrays (for something to do)
