Sorry, but that's all gobbledegook to me. I'm a gmail user on iPad. Does this mean my setup is likely to be compromised in some way?

You won't see much difference on the browser there as indeed many on here will either, window machines still allow attachments to emails titled Java script to operate in the background hackers utilise this loophole to sneak malware
(and especially 'Dridex' a banking key logger) to sneakily harvest details.

Gmail now by default prohibit JS attachments instead prompting you to scrutinise a file and its true format before deciding if to allow it or not,


as always ensure your updates are in order you'll be grand

Yes, all the gear, including some quant old-fashioned gear like tricams, hexes, wire nuts' and a shedload of friends from 0.5 up to several.5. A dozen or more quick draws, a pair of half-ropes, a reverso, a harness, some tight shoes, a few slings, some pear-shaped screw-gates and a sexy red helmet.
That's the gist of it anyway.

That's so yesterday. Sport/baby climbers need chalk, and lots of places to tie in on the way up their puny cliffs in the Spanish sun. Us old-school hard-assed traditional climbers eschew those sissy aids while we're climbing real mountains outside in the real weather. It's called adventure climbing, because the outcome is never certain, and it's always interesting.
