Saw this French registered Tischer parked up in Alton, Hampshire. Looked cosy on a cold morning with smoke drifting from the stovepipe.

Blimey, and a picture as well !
this means we have to award you a prize
I think that looks slightly bigger than the usual ones on Kaddy's although the layout looks the same with roof etc
did you proffer a business card?

I stuck a card under the windscreen wiper but didn't have time to stop. It certainly looked roomy for a demountable.

Well done on that one, nobody ever sees one stationary long enough to get a card under the wipers!

there was one like that featured in a VW VAn mag a couple of years back I remember reading it actually, and in your for sale thread there was also a white one buton the smaller pickup caddy?

I've seen both of those two ^^ for sale in recent years. Nice rig really, but would prefer the smaller Tischer on a Doka (Doublecab) T25.
If you like VW's & I do) then that's a good way to roll.. A camper, but don't have to drag it around everywhere - and can still do the tip run. They have a nice hard-side pop top too.

Quite a few guys in the VW scene graduate to a VW Karmann Gypsy when their families expand, but then you are stuck with a 'use specific' motorhome.

So, what exactly is 'Doka'

Doka is just an abbreviation of Doppelkabine - Doublecab - Single cab is Einzelkabine or Einka.

No idea what this would be...

Hälftekabine I suppose.. Great for jousting through London traffic :)

If you want to be flash you could call your Amarok a Doka

Hi Sheriff

Sorry to All for going a bit " Anorak " but is that Sun Lane? I used to work down that way and thought it would be a good wild camping spot for a night on the Watercress Real Ale Train.
