Demountable camper group

Hi
I am a newbie, I am about to embark on a project to convert my 4x4 (Landcruiser LJ71) into a camper.
I hope to gain help and experience on this forum and in turn post updates as the project progresses.

Ok, this is what I have, an LJ71, currently it's kitted out for overlanding having been to North Africa, my new wife suffers from arthritis and tents on the roof etc is not for her.


I need to convert the truck to this.




I have bought this but I need to modify and shorten

I had the same model landcruiser about ten years back now, awesome vehicle,
can see where your coming from now, so is it a (camper) chop and remodel, as in cut out enough of it to fit over the cab of the LJ

would you contrive a tailgate because that would compromise departure angle a little but increase the floor area for camper to sit on.

I think it is, where did you see it, I have a picture of another one, a yellow one

Initially I didn't think it likely on a SWB like those but it works pretty well
