Hi folks, We have just joined the group today having found you on Ebay while looking at the demountables for sale which I do periodically although we have a lovely Northstar. It snuggles very nicely onto my airbag suspension equipped Ford ranger kingcab work pick-up which hauls my digger and kit for my garden construction business here in Snowdonia.
My wife is Krystyna (or Kika) who is of a Polish family and we are both pretty footloose and just leave our yard with big grins whenever we mount up and drive into the blue yonder. We have our biggest trip so far this year which will take in France, Italy, Slovakia and the fine lake district in eastern Poland
(Mazury-well worth a visit if you like forest, lakes and plenty of off-roading too)

I'm not very Techi and wonder if anyone can suggest a solar charger for those times when we do not move. I look forward to keeping in touch as I have a few projects planned for the big trip. Yours, Tony Hodgson.

Welcome to the Forum Tony, Sounds like you have a decent setup !
Do you have any photos of you rig, inside & out ?
I'm to looking at solar so we can do more wild camping. I've been quoted approx £550.00 supplied & installed by http://www.leisuretechservices.co.uk/ in Clitheroe, Lancs.
I've just paid my Corporation Tax bill, so it'll have to wait until I can replenish the slush fund

If you have any questions, then just fire them at us. There's few "Seasoned" folks on here who should be able to answer most queries ;)

have you looked at our for sale section ?
it includes ebay along with items from both UK and France/Germany
and is updated weekly if not daily in busy periods

Hello and Welcome from a fellow Northstar owner. What year is your camper if you don't mind me asking. Is it the newer smooth ones or like mine does it have ribs?

Welcome from us as well in Somerset dont forget to took at the 2015 social where we are all getting together In June. Regarding Solar. Currently I use a solar briefcase type solution which I bought from Maplin several yeras ago. Its only 15w but keeps the leisure battery topped up when we are off grid. May go to a fixed installation when I have some spare cash, look at the light weight flexible ones, that seems like a good solution for us when we are all weight conscious. Looking forward to some pics.
