Still no snow

Was quite hoping for some this year here in the midlands, typically (and being safety conscious) my employer would rather pack up and head home early rather than struggle in it, which suite me.
But a member of staff at work has had a Volvo 4x4 for last couple of years
since last snow,
and been waiting expectedly to use it in anger

Careful what youwish for, we had a dusting here in Notts not long back and area grinds to stop

Grinds to a halt everywhere, best place to be is at home generally and let them get on with it
fun watching all the same

Snow should know its place. The Alps is as near to us as it needs to get.
If I want snow, I'll fly to it and ski on it. There's no need for it to come to me!

So Wednesday looks most likely next day off
I rather like the four seasons we get in the UK although I can see how it enrages some
lightweights

If it never dropped below 20'c.. Ever.. I'd be a happy man. The next 30 years in shorts and flip-flops sound fine to me. (unless welding)

it's snowing AGAIN here. Defiantly not the best idea but I'm having to use my truck to get around. We must have 3 inches of the stuff by now.
