Bikes Racks

So I Need to fit a bike rack. This will carry 2 electric assist bikes so not the lightest rigs in the world.

I also need to open the rear door while travelling for tea stops etc.

Its an Apollo demount but I guess others face this issue. Can't / won't put them inside the rig for the damage they do and they are quite heavy.

My 1st thought was to put an extension on the tow bar to support them (don't thikg the demount is strong enough)

Ideas and photos welcome

Rich

Sure somebody mentioned this just the other day, you'll have to look it up yourself though Rich as the subject intimates
actual physical effort and Bicycles, neither of which I approve of.

there is a Tischer option that bolts on back and swings upwards (like hatchback) to access the door,
& I will however look out an image of that

I'll take a pic of ours... fits into a slot by the toilet cassette and hinges like a door, locates across the main door with two 'R' Clips.

Be aware of rear axle weight with carrying bikes though.... ;)

Here you go. Reckon it weighs 10-15kg without bikes.

Slots in by the cassette door, swings closed and locates either side of the main door with 2 r-clips
