Great weekend at Latitude, my first festival since about 1974. I wound the new awning out just because I could, then wound it back in again as it was getting windy.

The motorhome camping field was not up to Caravan Club standards, we got our own nettle patch. Didn't see any other demountables.

Mrs G took her morning tea on the roof terrace.

I suppose the Big question is, would you both go again?
Tea on the roof terrace in the morning, Yes. A couple of cold beers watching the sunset? or has that got disaster written all over it.
And lastly, where were you in 1974?

I'd definitely do it again though it was exhausting, but having a comfortable home to return to each night makes all the difference. 1975 (not '74 now I check) I was at Knebworth watching Pink Floyd (

Jealous or what! I was just born to late & missed all this.
Guy, i will be making a beeline to you at the next Social with a ton of questions & you won't be able to spot me, i blend in.
Failing that, you aren't that far away from me for a chat over a beer or three one night at The Railway Arms in Alton so i can get the train!

Photos - no I don't think kids had cameras much back then, though strangely enough if you go on that link to the Knebworth Festival, second photo down, the girl with brown hair on the far left is my girlfriend of the time and to her right is the back of my head - my best angle I'm told.
Mjb666, just because I was there doesn't mean I remember much of it - what they say about the 60s pretty much applies to the 70s as well.

Yes, Alt J set was great - really nice vocal harmonies.
