Bet it wouldn't take long to heat up a camper that size even though it was with the burners

and thats a bit unsafe, still you survived OK

There's a lot of nonsense promulgated about using gas to heat your space. If you lit the gas and went back to bed that would be stupid, but we kept the skylight a crack open and there was plenty of air getting in for combustion from around the door seals, which were pretty rubbish. By the time we had made a brew and cooked some brekky it was warm enough for Kathy to get out of bed and get dressed, during which time I would have warmed up the truck, punched in some satnav and got ready to roll.

We still use the same methods in our home built pod. Only difference is we now have a CO detector to warn us of impending death by noxious fumes. It's kept us warm and alive in some pretty cold conditions all over the mountainous regions of Europe, as you can see from the pics.

With common sense I've gotten away with it so far too, but TBF these stories of it killing people on boats and in campers on cold days just keep coming, there was one in a tent in recent years, and those things must be sure be full of holes,

not recommended then

anyway, shouldn't you be doing something Keith, it is 11 after all
