I'm feeling a little drained...

Yup, winter's on the horizon and i've fully drained down my camper. Had to give it a bit of a blow, down the shower pipe, to get it all going, but nice and empty now. I wouldn't mind fitting Gaslow over the winter period, but i'm still uncertain as to whether i can get two 6kg bottles, the regulator and filler all in the wee box on my EC6. Anyone else managed this and, any pictures/advice?

Away already :o

We are going to use ours through winter and see how we get on.

Never did with the tin tent but it seems a shame not to use the camper more and there is no reason why not.

Time will tell how we get on.

How many others use them in winter?

Certainly they can be used with the comfort they afford
we find the 'only' drawback being occupied in the evening when it gets dark especially early and you are driven indoors,
but anyway there's are hardcore fanatic winter campers (including here) that appreciate the winter landscape as much as the summer season and use these all year round.

On the draining down, normally I might empty the flush tank at the very back but normally leave camper attached to the home power anyway and the the heating to come on in very cold conditions, this is what Alde engineer volunteered some years back and would appear to have worked

I had the gaslow fitted a couple of months ago and the guy was insistent that I could only get 1 x 6kg and a smaller 3kg. I was convinced that 2 x 6 would fit diagonally and after they fitted them I was right. Unfortunately they didn't have another 6 and I was heading off the next day so I'm collecting it when I return next week.

I will post pics of the layout and where they've fitted the parts/inlets etc when I have the 2 larger bottles...

Many thanks, photo's will be very much appreciated. I think i'lll be buying a double set-up from ebay, unless I can find them cheaper elsewhere, and fitting them myself. I mean, how hard can it be to drill a hole for the filler in the gas locker door???
