We'll need a more Northern venue too for next year, I don't mind who looks one up but obviously we'll need to correctly apportion blame afterwards if its wrong
shall we say nowhere further South than Nottingham would that be suitable for all?
Not too commercial or CC, possibly with some power but not the end of the world for a weekend after all

Can folks please give us an idea of When & Where you like to have a Northern Meeting.
We appreciate that some folks would like to attend both meetings, so bearing in mind that the Southern meeting is towards the end of June. This will then be closely followed by the Summer holiday period, which will be obviously a non starter.
So are we heading between Easter (March 27th) to the beginning of June perhaps ?
The Peak District is coming out as the most central area for most members again. Or do we head up North to the Yorkshire Dales / North Yorkshire Moors ?
Please give us your thoughts so we can organize a meetup sooner rather than last minute dot com.

Might be a bit cold for this Southerner of course, but I'll have my Winter coat still so expect it will be OK
Somewhere scenic might be nice if any of you can suggest a place, or as someone said before, if there's a show on or something of interest members could reach over the weekend that would be even better

I'd better check The Morris Ring, stop sniggering at the back, to see what Sides might be dancing? More chance of me turning up if i have an event to go to.

We've not as of yet received any suggestions for a place or a date for a possible Northern meet next year
We really need some feedback soon for this to become a starter. So as folks have plenty of notice to put it in their diaries
Come on folks, it's your chance to have some input, So get some ideas

fired back at us, so we can try to make it happen.

Would it be worth putting a list of areas up to vote on where people are prepared to travel too. Once narrowed down to a particular area one of us close to the area can start looking for a site and maybe visit it to check it out.
I'll start with the following.
The Peak District
The Lakes
Northumberland
North Yorskhire
Once we have a full list put it to the vote
Just a thought

Good democracy in action, that'll learn em'
So yes please,
there is a degree of organisation to these beano's not just ringing up and booking a slot so we'd appreciate an indication in principal at least that we aren't wasting our time looking at this
