Decided to have a night wild camping in the camper and it's now snowing :)

I'm looking forward to find out how it will be in the cold weather as I plan on useing it through winter.

The rest of the family voted to stay at home in front of the log burner until they see how I get on

Where are you Bookend, is this tale simply a thin veneer for for a drinking theme evening?

I wouldn't watch the voice even if I was in the house

I'm just outside of Castleton in the Peak District

So it has become your mobile man cave?

I'm happy camping in mine during winter - providing there is lots of electricity available to run the heater and dehumidifier. My camper (unlike yours I suspect) is extremely efficient at temperature equalisation. The huge moon roof and single-glazed louvered glass windows help with this.

Steve.

Back home now.

All was good had the heater on minimum all night which is equivalent to 550w and it kept the camper at a comfy temperature.

I took some getting to sleep as it was a bit strange being out in the sticks on my own and I was wondering how much snow there would be this morning.

William was keen to come but I wanted to try things out on my own first but it will be better with a bit of company I should of really taken the dog for a bit of security.

Might go next weekend to the coast but will see what the weather is doing
