Just a thought, on the article it says he is an expedition portal member .. why not put a post on the forum? II've had a quick look on there and there is no digital footprint for a "Jason Walker". but he may go of a different handle.

On a different note, Overland Journal is tightly coupled with this, if you've not read it, I'd highly recommend it.
