The dog wasn't sure about the steps at first but some gentle persuasion got him using them. Of course he sometimes just bypasses the steps altogether and just jumps in.

Zildjian the beard has gone I can assure you. It was only for the mountains.

I wasn't sure where I was going when I set off. Val Thorens was in the back of my mind so was Morzine but I ended up going back to Val D'Isere. I had shorts on in central France. It was 19-20°C. Not a pretty sight.
