USB wall sockets?

Before we spend out on these, has anyone used/fitted one themselves and what are their thoughts on them

I agree with the bloke in the video. I've got one of these and it works fine, and if it goes wrong I can throw it away and get another, unlike the USBs built into the socket.

City electrical have some and though couldn't vouch for them himself, said at least he's sold some with no comebacks we wanted to charge phones overnight beside us in bedroom ideally and wanted to do away with couple of usb chargers, maybe see what eles is on the market

Fitted several in varying builds.

Never had a problem yet in over 12 months

out of interest have you noticed them (not) charging a device ever?
I'd quite like to include some upstairs actually but an iphone and sometimes Blackberry phone really like their own chargers

well we have a couple of iphones or a kindle if thats important, though they were all about 7v roughly actually

I haven't heard of chargers not working properly but some of the plugs have 2 USB sockets rated differently.

Not fitted myself but numerous positive reports on other campervan / motorhome forums.

I have a double socket and double usb connected to the 240v system and a single socket and double usb running of my inverter. They are great and charge all my devices perfectly. I got them from Screwfix and were reasonably priced.
