Nissan chassis replaced (by Nissan)

Of interest to some of you here, this guy Chris has collected his Navara after dealership have replaced broke chassis

Though that (sounds) a good thing hopefully but if chassis not any better than last one then thats only a nother 5 years use surely?

I believe its the facelift chassis. Seems the original also wasn't rotated in the rustproofing dip so had air pockets. This gets a stir in the tank. It was still a stupidly thin bit of 'engineering' though.
