Exhausting weekend teearing about doing 'stuff' - glad its Monday and time to rest. half way through summer... when might it actually start?

Took off tailgate in preparation for fitting camper. What a pain. I feel a modification is coming before it goes back on.

Well if you can devise a safe quick-release for tailgates that would be of interest mines not difficult but involves threading a couple of sizeable bolts

The bolts on mine go through fixed bushes on the hinge plate that are just too wide to get past the seam on the truck. Had to take off one of the hinges from the tailgate. Only three bolts, but as they have slotted holes it will need realigning when it goes back on. I think I will grind away some of the bush to make it narrower and pack out with a washer.
