Oh no what has happened (Ranger repair)

After a couple of weekends with no progress managed to spend some time today Metal fixed in place ready to glue

Using my dads old leather headed panel beater hammer to tuck the end over under the back wall.
Tomorrow's job work on the left side have cut the hole for the cassette toilet opening. And then mix up some more glue!!

Very impressive repair - well done.

When I had my Apollo the ply under the cab-over bed went a bit "soft". On investigation all the timber matrix under the interior ply was saturated as was the exterior ply. This was all replaced working from inside the camper so that the outer alloy skin was not affected. Water was getting in through the front nearside marker light. It must have been leaking for ages to allow that much water to get in!! My repair looked a lot more straight forward than yours!!

Blimey, I bet that was fun to work on & a bit cramped,
better if you can leave the outside undisturbed though surely, Rich has got a new roof out of their repair so that should be reassuring.

Would imagine leaks would mostly start high up and I suppose a marker light needs a hole like anything else, although I would likely start by examining the trim on the corners first.

Top left hand side cut to size but need to cut water fill hole

End in sight I reckon, some fiddly trim to refit I suppose shortly.
great you have the workspace available, I'm envious really wish I had somewhere big to work.

Yes fitted the right hand trim and sealed it all up plus the ladder and rear number plate light.
So getting there.

Last metal panel on glued and braced


Door frame and door fitted. It was quite a job as the frame dry-fitted ok but when I put sealant on it did not fit, so very messy 15 mins sealant everywhere which is going to take a while to clean up.

Door for the cassette and filler went in a treat.
Next job fit the legs, going to paint them I think just to add some protection.
Then add the trim I bought to cover up the seams between panels.
Then the checker plate angle under the bottom edge.

Nearly there.
