OK my situation;
As some of you may know in January I began yet another new job after Two successive redundancies
the project we've started in Market Harborough is with a new outfit and i'm still waiting for a number of staffing answers among them are holiday dates booked
knowing this might be an issue to me both booking & then turning up somewhere I pulled the vote over on the facebook page.

The casual discussion about meeting at the
Bubble car Museum appeals. Sounds nice and is reasonably in the middle (up down not leftright)

Here's a possibility. The owners are friends with Chris & Rachel, we've been about 4 times & it's a great wee campsite.
They have a rally field, but unfortunately there's no power to it. We're going there for a weekend in March so would be able to ask if any power options would be available.
There are plenty of walks short or long & the village of Settle is only a couple of miles away.
The shower facilities are excellent & they have a pub / tea room / restaurant on site.
Here's their website to help you folks decide

Wherever is fine with us , with or without power. Our solar panels keep us going with a modicum of sunshine but we will fit in with whatever everyone else would like to do. Hope your situation settles soon Zildjian, I had umpteen redundancy episodes from 2001 to 2009, managing to hang on to one of the diminishing number of posts each year, wears you down a bit I can really sympathise.
It would be nice to meet up with everyone again though so fingers crossed.
regards

Am hoping to make this time and yeah, if I can, that weekend would be good for me. Either of those sites look OK to me but I'm happy to go anywhere.

Chris is chasing up the Knight's Stainforth site near Settle, as it's his mates site.
So I'd prefer to leave it with him at the moment so as not to confuse matters at the owners end.
I'll be going up there in March when they re-open, so can confirm any details / questions then
