Sure, go for it
Few of these products about, they have to differ from household types given your MH/caravan what have you flexes this way and that on the road and they have to remain more fluid to cope with that but that seems to fit the bill
beside which it will perform better that gaffa any day
Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Hello,
after a long time of absence here I'm back again.
At first... nice work with this window. But may i give you a hint?
We have the same windows on our van and when its open it may flap over when the wind is blowing.
Heki (Dometic) offers a simple thing to fix the hood in half opened position.
It's not very expensive and will be mounted in an half hour. It works very well!

Perhaps it is available in GB too?!

Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Hello again & thanks,
after I'd fitted the Heki I did actually wonder what kept it securely open, when you have time could you take a picture of your locking kit installed
I've had a quick look for a 'Heki midi locking kit' but so far not seen one on sale here

Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Right, so not found any reference in UK to this upgrade
does kit comprise of same item both sides of skylight?

Re: Fitting Heki Midi skylight
Yes, this is for both sides. One left, and one right. Mirror...
You have to replace the original sideparts.
You can 'park' the roof in two different positions. And, as said before, the installation is a thing of an half an hour...
