I sold my hardtop due to the hassle in removing it & storing it somewhere without it getting damaged.
I've now got an EGR soft tonneau cover which locks into place when closed & sits on an independent rail system which is clamped to the top of the bed rail. I simply roll it back to the cab & then load the camper, I've just had to pack the camper away from the cab a couple of inches so that it doesn't crush when fastened up with the turnbuckles.
I got mine from Auto Styling Truckman http://www.truckman.co.uk/p/5128/egr-so ... double-cab

Well the top came off today in preperation for collecting the camper.

I found the perfect solution for removal in the form of 4 warehouse guys

It's now tucked away in a container.

To be fair it was spot on. I was expecting it to be terrible without air bags but I couldn't fault it. Might be a different story once all the gear goes in.

The ride was smoother than the truck solo :?
