I just fitted a new euro cat to Lorraine's Jimny.it had one last year for mot too.
So the generic ones might work out expensive.. But Suzuki want £600.

Adblue is cheaper at agritec places bt the way.

Couple of thoughts Rich, whichever you go for there a re a couple of peculiarities to demountable's worth thinking;

Air suspension, is there either a kit made for pickup, or an existing model that will adapt easily to fit a new truck,

Rear camera, lots of trucks feature a sat nav centrally on dashboard, many of which the manufacturer will offer a camera to display rear view when reverse is selected, easier to procure at POS, a devil to obtain aftersales

might be a camera in tailgate, so you can disable that or switch it maybe (in use remove tailgate anyway) and substitute it with short range transmitter on camper (popular addition here)

The reversing camera thing's been on my thoughts. The Warrior and Barbarian have them as standard so, if I can utilise a transmitter to piggyback onto the trucks system, that would be great. If you have more specific info, please let me know?
On fitting airbags to new model trucks, I guess it may take the industry a little while to catch up and produce a specific bag for each new truck, but a specialist fitter will know if a current bag will fit. I'll either get bags fitted asap, or I may have to wait a little while for a new model airbag fitment for whichever truck I go for.

Camera
its more there being the connectivity to the back of the audio/sat nav head unit so you could hook up a camera later, what triggers it is neither here nor there really, but in the case of using a map head unit, it would really have be reverse light coming on and powering up the camera right at the back of camper,

I mention the camera as the one Toyota 'think' will fit is only available after sale if I bought it on spec whereas if you ordered it along with truck they should provide the correct part before it leaves forecourt,
(basing my experience on Toyota seller who are actually pretty clueless sadly)


Air the bags themselves are almost entirely the same dimension (with a few exceptions) how they vary between manufacturers vehicle is the dimension of the brackets top & bottom
on the bags they just have a single bolt thread welded onto top & bottom steel mount

my brackets for example had to be slightly adapted from the Hilux Mk5 as the chassis rail was greater dimension on later model so garage contrived something out of threaded bar (like a U-bolt) to pass over chassis rail and hold bags in position
