I don't suppose they have time to look on this forum, so rant away Andy. Only watch you don't start turning into your dad. It's happening to me, Ruchards already turned, it's only a matter of time before you turn too.

I'm also a member of the T4 forum, I downplated my T4 to 2490kg (from 2900), there was a lot of conversation about dealing with this company, and it was recommended that you dealt with the DVLA directly.

I did .. and it was relatively easy

This is the other way, so wonder what additional information you need to change the plate.
