UPDATE No. 5

Well I finally received the invoice today from Gareth at SV Tech.
He has honored the £260.00 +VAT as promised with those little words at the bottom stating that my "Prompt attention" was required.

I nearly fell on the floor laughing

I proceeded to make an online payment & then gave Gareth a call to see what happens next.
He told me that once he has cleared funds, then I will get the necessary paperwork & vehicle stickers.
I will then have to send off a V7 to the DVLA for a new Log Book.

I'm still holding my breath for what seems to be an age now

To be Continued .............

Do you have from SV a detailed plan of where the weight limit will be increased, as in: is it a blanket increase of whatever makes it up to 3500Kg distributed 50/50 between front & rear axle,

or a proportion to rear and less (presumably) to front

looks around 3200 kgs so DVLA need to 'add' a further 300 kgs to make it up to 3500

Mine states 2805 on the plate & after a bit of routing I found out that they were a Motorpoint batch of imports.
No wonder they were cheap
They didn't inform me at the time & I never asked.
So deffo needed to strengthen the chassis & get the re-plate done ;)
