Toilet fluid

Hello english friends !
What do you use for your toilet ?
For several years I've used this:



It's a blue powder I use for my garden and it's ok for organic garden. I put only 2 spoons in the toilet and I don't have any odour.
This is called "Bordeaux mixture" in UK.
It's cheaper and less cumbersome than Thetford fluid.
Do you know it ?

Claude, I presume that you put this in the cassette itself and not in the flushing tank?

Does this help to break down the contents of the toilet too?

Plus, is this less environmentally problematic than all that blue liquid?

I saw someone once empty the contents of their Thetford toilet down a campsite's long-drop composting toilet. Depending upon what they put in the Thetford I guess that probably didn't do the composting process much good.

Is it true the blue has an element of embalming fluid in its composition?
might of course be something put about by the manufacturers of the 'green' alternative and all nonsense

No I've been reading up on this myself since Claude mentioned the horticultural option, it would seem washing products are the way to go, mind you ours is strictly no solids seeing as how I get to empty it, and I've been reading about the alternative as well so its definitely staying like that now
