Gary might know its history as the sole importer so unless it came here itself its probably known,
I do like the look of these Lely though don't you

The Truck was a Cat D, didn't bother me as i would have swapped it over to my own King Cab.
It only had 57K on the clock & getting Maybe £7500 on selling it would make the Lely cost £5000.
Seems like a very good deal to me, Gutted i missed out, Oh Well.

Bizarre thing to put through an auction unless its a finance repo, specialists normally hoover that kind of stuff up before it hits auction houses
All the major auction centres have online catalogues, but many lots are booked in on the day so dont show online

Interesting... We were not aware of this unit before today. It's not a big factory and they often stay in touch with owners so somebody might know - I'll try and find out. It's an early first generation 'Runner'. I can't be sure how old from the photos but the shape of the roof, the position and type of fridge, the way the furniture is made and the Seitz windows show it's quite an old van. They've come a long way since then, but it's looking fair in the photos.
Best wishes
Gary

I'm a bit of an auction veteran. Oddball stuff really throws the trade buyers, they don't know what to do if it isn't in Glasses guide.
I once bought a small campervan that I expected to pay £8k for .. for £1750! I was even more amazed when I went to the desk to find it was actually mine. No reserve, nothing.
Someone got an amazing bargain with that Lely.

Be really good if the new owner turns up to join DCG, let's see?

Limited amount of information on them so very good chance they'd gravitate here you might imagine
