Of the two French forums (that I'm aware of) La Tortue seems to be the one favoured by self-builders. I've lurked around occasionally but haven't signed up yet. :oops:

Our' Claude is a member there, they do have campers 'off the Shelf' for the less pioneering, I just find them fairly friendly generally

They do indeed, including Bernard's immaculate camper built in Nidaplast (http://www.casa-trotter.com/index.php/v ... -nidaplast) - a really beautiful piece of work! And what a fantastic workshop (jealous face emoticon).

looking through the trotters site i see what you mean about the standard of construction its pretty much professional
