A guy was showing off one of these at our local market this morning. Exclusively available over the internet apparently. Looked quite interesting and amazingly cheap until I looked more closely at the specs. Diesel, petrol and LPG/petrol options (which is a plus); good motors (Toyota and Isuzu); only 2-wheel drive though (could possibly live with that);
but 500kgs payload!

What use is that? Not enough for the carcass of a well-fed sanglier let alone a demountable camper! It'll be interesting to see if they start appearing on the roads round here where, until now, Nissan and Toyota have been the paysanne's chariot of choice.

Martin
Previous demountables: Island Plastics 'Suntrekker' on P100, S.Karosser 'EC8L' on Ranger supercab, self-built pop-top on Ranger double cab
Current demountables: Rhino 'Safari' hardside on Ranger double cab

Who knows, might be ok, at least the axle is where it needs to be on the LWB version. When you look into the specs a bit more the payload's not so bad either. It's only rated 500kg in the bin but there's nearer 1000kg difference between ULW and GVW. The rest rides in the cab - just like any other double cab.
I'm not sure I'd fancy being the Guinea pig though...
Best wishes
Gary

Some shared knowledge there
(although not sure the percentage)
Might be heading for a
great big Chinese wall again and the jury's still out on those vehicles
